Best media reactor I've owned, hands down. Media stays suspended the entire time, whether it's the pump or the distribution plate I don't know but this is leagues better than any reactor I've owned (2Fish and BRS). RDX Pump is probably overkill but it's quiet, reliable and hyper adjustable, and it's nice to have some pumps around that are compatible with other equipment (like my BK DC150) in the event spares are needed. Compact design means I can keep it in my return pump and never worry about a leaky reactor outside the sump. One caveat, I use some denser foam that I sacrificed from old reactor at the top between the plate and lid in order to keep smaller media (super small GFO and Carbon) from exiting the reactor. 5 minutes spending time with scissors. 5/5 would recommend.
